Friday was a friend's graduation party, so I had some beers and card games at Mike's dorm, and watched Anchoram, while Sean narrated and quoted everything (as usual.). Then we went out to the local Irish pub and had appies and drinks with a whole bunch of really close friends.
The sorority and frat people showed up an hour or so later for a Greek Night, so Sean and Mike -being frat boys- joined, and I tagged along for kicks. Had a sweet time talking and cracking jokes at eachother.
Afterwards, a couple of us went back to McGill and had a swing dance party in the central hub. Odd - that's the word I would use to describe that. Fun, yes. Weird, yes. Amusing, for sure.
Yesterday I slept in for a long time. I deserved it. Ahem.
I did some spring cleaning, went to Future Shop with Kory, and had some giggles. I haven't spent time with him lately, so it was really good to do that.
Then I called over Nick (who I never hang out with, except at social events) and we played Portal 2 Multiplayer and kicked ass, ate some cookies. Solid night. He's pretty cool - a decent, down to earth, chill dude. I should ask him to hang again sometime.
Then today, I did some art homework (productivity? WHAT? yeah. I did that. ;D) and cleaned my room. Insanity, I know. It's SO CLEAN. Dishes and all. Even swept the floor and shook out my rug. Go me.
Mike invited me to the TCC, where I destroyed on the field playing ultimate frisbee and soccer and football for HOURS. What a good time. It was SO nice outside, at least 14 degrees and sunny. Summer can't come too quickly. Ate some gummies, blowed some bubbles and chatted with friends.
Did an easter egg hunt thing, which was so much fun. I found most of them, and then ended up playing hot and cold with everyone else, because they wanted them and I wouldn't tell them where they were. Haha.
After that, our rather large and awesome group of friends had a potluck barbeque, which was delicious. These people know how to cook for a party. There were meat skewers and couscous and tomato soup and chips and veggies and dip and all sorts of scrumptous goodness. Yum.
Now I am attempting to dye a shirt for One Day Without Shoes on Tuesday. I have done it every year for the last years, and this year I thought I'd go a little further than just not wearing shoes, and make a t-shirt! Woot. So far, my fabric ink bleeds, and I've ended up failing at letters and just making some pretty sweet watercolor-looking designs all over the back. I'll probably just use permanent marker for the front letters.
